Last night I smelled gas in my cabin, so I panicked and called my gas supplier - suburban propane. Tammy picked up the phone and was extremely helpful and respectful about what the next steps are. She reached out to David who then called me, he was also very patient with me and explained to me in great detail why I would be smelling the gas (my tank was empty) perfectly safe. David and Lance came over the next day to inspect, filled my tank and everyone is happy. Thank you Suburban for easing my mind last night!
On Saturday, February 11th, I realized that my propane tank was very low. I knew that the delivery mechanism was closed for the weekend. First think on Monday, February 13th, I called for an emergency refill. It was problematic because it had snowed about 3-4 inches the night before and my lane was inaccessible to the propane delivery truck. I moved 2 years ago because they are the most expensive. I have since asked them three times to move their tank which I left out front but its still there.
Suburban propane are huge price gougers! I just switched companies and their propane prices are half that of Suburban. Now come to find out that to get them to come pick up their tank I rented, they will now charge an additional 125$ for that. Don't forget they charge 125$ fee to set the tank. The new company has NO CHARGE to set or remove a tank! Seems like Suburban makes up charges for everything! I highly suggest switching companies it will definitely be worth it! Worst prices around!
I can’t say enough good things about Field Tech David Pimentel. The Idyllwild Nature Center really appreciates his creativity and hard work. He is a huge asset to Suburban Propane in the greater Idyllwild area.
