4 7/10th of 5! As it has been our protracted relationship, they have a way of knowing when you’re in need of a refill; which is great because some of us don’t keep track and make the call. If you are running low, you will be told we’re busy, but show up and drop of not what was requested, but a “hold me over” til they get to you. So far…. Not a problem. Arrive. Polite. Do their “thing”. If paths cross, they say goodbye. The arrival time is always good. If they’ve been there before, and you’re not there, they leave the produc... read more
NEW SUBURBAN PROPANE REVIEW TO ADD TO THE ONE BELOW FROM LAST YEAR - Today has been one of the coldest days I can remember in the 20 plus years of living in the Poconos and I was literally brought to tears (not even kidding) when I saw the Suburban Propane truck appear on our security camera while we were out. If you enjoy financial jump-scares, surprise fees, and gas priced like it was hand-crafted by Swiss watchmakers, Suburban Propane is your company. I’ve been with them for three years, and every 2–3 bills they try to slip in some new “creative” charge like I’m not going to notice. Spoiler: I noticed. Their latest trick? Filling my tank and trying to charge $9 a gallon. Nine. Dollars. For propane that everyone else around here is selling for $2–$3. At that point it’s not propane anymore—it’s a hostage situation. When you confr... read more
