Steer clear of this company they take part in usury they will mark up the propane sometimes three times the market rate if you don't use a certain amount and they will come on your property without permission specifically the Poconos area branch that I've ever interacted with my life do not put yourself in the position where you're contractually obligated to this country they will try to take advantage of you at every turn you've been warned!
I just signed up with Suburban Propane (Pocono Summit Office), I dealt with Lisa and I must say she has outstanding customer service skills and is very detailed in explaining all the options that Suburban offers, and was very patient with all the the questions I had. This is office is extremely lucky to have a person like Lisa working for them. Because of her business acumen and great customer service skills I elected to go with Suburban Propane.
I will start off by saying that this winter was an extremely cold and icy one here in the Poconos and anyone attempting to get down our road to deliver oil was one brave and tough son of a gun as we found with John with Suburban Propane. He saved the day. Our road, under extreme weather conditions, can be incredibly precarious when one is attempting to deliver oil to our home but John seemed to welcome the challenge and we were the better (and warmer) for it.
