Nice people - but HORRIBLE pricing! Every time I called price was apparently "negotiable". National company with shareholders profits a primary interest over simple curtesy of competitive pricing for customers who have been with them for decades. after 18 months of monitoring Suburban's offered propane price compared to Mountain Propane - I finally switched to Mountain Propane which has been consistently cheaper by as much as 40% (and also nice people).

I attempted to switch my propane account and was informed that I needed an inspection, despite having lived in this house and used the same propane tank for over two years. I was also told that I couldn’t receive a delivery without this inspection, which was only available during my working hours. Suburban Propane was recommended by a neighbor. I called the Scott's Valley location to inquire about service for a new 500 gallon tank we had purchased. A technician was sent out to inspect the tank a few days later and the tank was filled within a week of my initial call. Every employee we met or spoke with was professional and an asset to the company.

I spoke with Mari at this location to deal with an issue regarding my bill and she could not have been more helpful. What could have been a stressful interaction ended being so easy because of how she handled it. Cannot stress how impressed and grateful I was for her help.
