Absolutely terrible service, would not recommend to anyone. They let my tank run completely empty 3 TIMES. 2 of which was in the middle of winter and I woke up to my house being 50 degrees. They didn't even have me on the schedule to deliver and I had to call to get an emergency fill all 3 times. I canceled back in May, and figured out they kept adding on additional rental fees for the tank every month until I noticed in September. Horrible company to deal with. Had nothing but problems with them. Filled my neighbor's tank when i called to be filled and billed me, then when I ran out charged me for an emergency visit. My account was set up for fills when I called. Called in April and got a fill, then they filled me again in May and said it took 16 pounds. It was a summer camp and I hadn't been there yet and the gauge was reading 40%. Then I sold the camper and called to let them know. Beware, these people are absolute crooks!!! After years of paying too much for their propane, as well as yearly tank rental charges and delivery surcharges we finally got tired of getting robbed and fired them for another better and lower cost provider. After we terminated their service, they continued to attempt to charge us for the unhooked tanks that they were supposed remove. It took NEARLY A YEAR for them to remove the tanks. I was a loyal fuel oil customer of Suburban for almost 25 years. When it recently came to needing a new furnace, I decided to convert to propane and fully intended for Suburban to continue servicing my home heating needs with a new tank installation. To secure a permit, I requested proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance and Disability Insurance, as directed by my town's codes enforcement officer.
