We initially really liked suburban. Then when we found out they did not install our really old tank properly (it is not grounded and probably has been rusting for the last nearly year it was not properly installed), it took WEEKS to get them to finally supposedly order the parts they need to properly install it. How it got inspected, as they insist it did, and passed when it isn’t grounded, we have no idea. If they actually fix it properly I will amend my review.

I was a will call customer, and I own my own tank, and they came, and put 15 gallons in my tank with out me calling them. After I talk to them on the phone they said it's been almost 2 years since my last fill, and I was almost empty. So I told them to come fill my tank the rest of the way, and they only put another 15 gallons . I used to work for them years ago as a service technician, and they used to do this same stuff. I have put a lock on my tank and assign that say. Suburban do not fill

This place is so disorganized it doesn't know up from down. We cancelled service after suburban stopped showing up in a timely manner and increased the rent on a propane tank so old this property has had it since the 60s. We said come get your crappy overpriced tank and be done with it. We submitted all the cancellations paperwork. We talked on the phone for weeks with these guys to ensure everything was cancelled. I am not impressed with this company or the work they've done. They have recently put in a "new" propane system at my place of employment and it's best description is shabby. They didn't install a proper shut off system just a rope and instructions to pull it and then crawl under the tank to flip a lever. There cap is held on by poorly spun tie wire/sauder wire instead of actual hinge bolts. I personally think there fill nosel is terrible to use compared to others. Very disappointed. I have a seasonal home, and am only here in spring, summer and fall. I have a heat pump with secondary propane furnace. Consequently, I use very little propane. I have requested that they not fill my tank, unless I call for delivery. Well, at the height of the fuel prices, Suburban decided to come up and fill my tank. My 500 gallon tank only took 20 gallons. The fee included a fuel charge of $131 (($6.51/gal), a delivery fee ($14.30), a Safety P&T fee ($12.92) and a slew of associated taxes....for a total ... read more
