Ripping Off customers for 30 years – My mother WAS a Suburban Propane customer for over 30 years, not any more!! If you want to pay over $4.50 a gallon, use them, if not, call Universal Propane Inc., 541 956-1863. I just refilled my tank on Feb. 14, 2012 for $2.95 a gallon. if you buy 200 gallons at a single fill up, you saved your self over $300.00. Good company - professional and established – Seem to be well run with good established processes and systems for delivery, scheduling, billing, etc.
ILLEGAL AND UNETHICAL DOUBLE BILLING – I have recently received a bill for tank rental. It is now almost 3 times the amount I paid in September for a prepaid full year?s rental of the tanks. My account is paid in full until Sept 2009. I feel I am being taken advantage of and extorted into paying not only a higher price for the tank rental but higher gas prices.
