Had a great experience on a Tuesday morning. Got referred for peritonsilar abscess on my right tonsil and got immediately triaged, tested appropriately, and moved inside to a care station. The entire staff was friendly and attentive. Bringing me an extra blanket when I was warm, monitoring my pain levels, and communicating along each step. I had to wait a while for my ENT specialist to do the procedure, but waiting for an appointment with a specialist otherwise would not have been a same day endeavor. Both of my arms are bruised—they tried six times and still couldn’t find a vein. Asking me “Why are you so stressed?” I was extremely dizzy, yet they kept me upright in a chair for nearly two hours! Would you like it to sound more formal, emotional, or sarcastic?

I'm surprised that Suburban has such bad ratings. I have not had nothing but good experiences every time I've gone. The last time I went with was 3 weeks ago, I was in and out within 4 hours. Had to severe tooth infection, I was a lot of pain and they looked good care of me. They kept me posted with exactly was going on and what they were doing. I can't say enough good things about Suburban emergency.
