I've been in here a few times now and I can't get enough. Subculture is everything you want in a retail store! The store is clean, neat, and always well stocked. The employees are beautiful people with bubbly personalities who never make you lift a finger; they act as your personal shopper, getting you everything you even THINK you might need, though they are never pushy. Prices are affordable especially for the quality and style. I will always recommend this store to every person who crosses my path!
My first visit to The Avenue's location was definitely memorable and one i will treasure. Subculture's founders love what they have given to Jacksonville and it is evident in the way they greet and remember each guest.The clothing, accessories,books and overall atmosphere are breathtaking and offer a unique and rare experience to Jax natives.Subculture has my unwavering support.
So this was my first time coming into this store today and I know it seems dramatic but I was so satisfied I cried. Carlisle was so kind, fun, and helpful! Her style showed she loved working there and she did an amazing job helping me find a beautiful skirt and helped my sister get fit for a corset! Just a beautiful experience!
This is an amazing store and Carlisle was awesome! This was an out-of-box shopping experience for me...and I loved it. I bet we were in the store for 3 hours and tried on so many great things....I wanted them all but my budget said I'd have to wait a little bit between purchases. Lol! The whole staff was great and I'll definitely be going back!

Absolutely amazing!! My husband and I went in just to look at a purse and before I knew it, JoHanna helped me pick out 2 fantastic outfits and a beautiful corset. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. All the ladies that worked in the shop were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back as soon as possible. ☺️
I was really like a kid in a candy store when I walked into Subculture. I wasn't planning on buying anything but that dress popped out at me! It was the only one left and was in my size, so I took that as a sign that the dress needed to come home with me. The young ladies who assisted me were so friendly and made me, my daughters, and granddaughter feel right at home. If you all need someone else to work here, call me!! All of my paychecks will be spent right here! LOL! Just kidding, but not kidding.
