Over many years, my spouse and I have purchased 3 Subarus through Subaru of Missoula. This summer, when we needed to replace a lost key and fob for our Forester, I contacted the Service Department. My first contact was on 23 June 2025, and I received a response saying they could help and inquired about the year and model of my car. I provided this. If you’re looking to get your clown car fixed I would recommend this place, because it’s a joke! If you want to get your Subaru fixed look elsewhere. My girlfriend went in over 2 months ago to get her AC fixed. 400 dollar diagnostic (understandable) 1200 dollars to fix the condenser. Great, only problem is the machine to recharge the AC (another 200 dollars) broke down, and they said they would promptly get back to her. Service manager will not return any calls. Management will not address my service that I had done. That was not done correctly.
Complete scam salesman, not mechanics. Took my Outback to these guys for a few issues and was told I needed a litany of work done for $4000. I knew something was off when I was told that I needed new head gaskets and timing belt, when that work was already done not long ago on the car. Took my car to another shop in town who actually diagnosed my issues and fixed everything for $500.
