Poor communication and customer service. My leased Subaru has been waiting over 40 days for a windshield replacement, and I still have no clear delivery date. Getting updates requires constant follow-up, and no real solutions have been offered. The crack is halfway across the windshield, presenting a safety hazard. No loaner vehicle has been offered. 2026-03 UPDATE: After four months, a new engine, and over four weeks of time spent in the service of AUTONATION SUBARU CARLSBAD, four lights on my dash lit up and the display would not stop flashing on and off. We decided to go to a different Subaru certified dealer and service shop. On June 28, I brought my Crosstrek in for routine maintenance—an oil change, alignment, and tire rotation. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I was overcharged for the services, and no one at the location has taken responsibility. The service advisor never answered my calls, and the manager completely ghosted me—even after I left multiple messages. 99 percent of the time nobody answers the phone at the parts department. It’s so annoying to have to call sales who actually answer to have them run over to parts and have to tell them to answer the phone and even then half the time it will still go to voicemail. I’m trying to give you guys money here come on.
