A warning to anyone considering doing business with Suba Performance in Denver. At the end of November, I took my 2014 Subaru Crosstrek with 39,000 miles on it into Suba Performance to check out an engine noise and for an oil change. First of all, I agree that they are good if not great mechanics. My problem with them is in a different area. Last time I was there they quoted me 1.5 hours (1.5 x $110= $165) to replace the light under my shifter because the center console had to be removed. I also asked Ryan about a noisy AC fan and he told me it was a 4-5 hour jobs (4-5 x $110 =$440-$550) as the whole dash needed to be removed. I couldn't afford that at the time so passed on both.
