Food was amazing and had a great convo with the Owner! Best substation in the state!!!!
Hands down the best place i have been in a while! The guy taking orders remembered all 5 of my orders as well as what extras we wanted on each of them, better than I did. The owner was there helping staff and interacting with customers A+ customer service (you dont see that very often anymore) i was able to order food for 2 adults and 3 teenagers and with a 15% tip i only spent $50. I recently tried substation for the first time and I was really disappointed in both the food and the service. I tried the veggie sub and I had more bread than anything, and I felt rushed when trying to order. I won't be back.
I looked at the menu and got the regular veggie. It says it comes with yellow, Swiss and provolone. I was told only 1 cheese. I didnt want lettuce, and got 1 tomato slice, 2 cucumber slices and some banana peppers. I had more bread than veggies-a wish me sandwich. Plus having to yell over a barrier was weird. Not impressed.
I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent visit to Substation II. When I arrived, the first employee who prepared my sandwich was polite and professional. However, the second guy who added my toppings was extremely rude and dismissive. He repeatedly rushed me by saying “what else, what else, what else,” not giving me time to respond, and acted as though he could not hear me.
