No carolina Cuban Sub sandwich. Which is sad in Sur Carolina.
What happened? I went in and got a #13 and the bread is awful and there was 2 pieces of meat on the sandwich. Did private equity take over because it tastes like it. I have been eating sub station II since I was 15, I'm 52 now and this was so bad. Service was great, but the sub is awful.
Sadly, as of June 2026, the quality of the #17 (Roast Beef & Turkey Sub) at Sub Station II in Beaufort, SC has not improved since it began its decline in quality several years ago. I've attached a photo, so you can see for yourself. They are not putting nearly as much meat as they used to, the roll is thicker than the contents of the sub, and they're still using torn lettuce instead of shredded lettuce.
