Their DV shelters are always full. I called for LA to OC to SD. I called for 1 year for a pregnant woman in OC & no luck, she went back to her abuser until he was put in jail. Its Horrible the extremely limited resources in S. CA

Su Casa helped me so much in providing my baby and I everything we needed. We left home without anything. They helped me with all my court paperwork and even got me Lyft to go and come back. I appreciate the transitional shelter as well for being kind and welcoming. Thank you to the case manager for always motivating me and for providing me with information I needed. Thank you so much for providing a home for my baby and I.

A Disappointing Experience with Su Casa: Broken Promises and Unprofessionalism I had high hopes for Su Casa, a non-profit shelter in Los Angeles, but my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. The organization seems to make a lot of promises but fails to deliver on them, leaving vulnerable individuals and families in an even more precarious situation. The place is being remodeled and they told me walking in the door there were no gift cards or options. I signed my paperwork for housing and they put me and my children on the street. They said they can send a Lyft to place us at the doss office. All the while they wil act cruel and have demeaning behavior that will not have a str... read more

These people honestly couldn’t care less about women in need of support. I was in here with my 7 year old daughter and pregnant with my son. When I entered the program I was already 7 months pregnant fleeing domestic violence. The program is a 30 day program but upon entry they claim to assist with anything you need to get your life back including housing… they did not. 8 months pregnant I put the footwork in by myself while they did absolutely nothing but disrespect me. I gave birth while at the program and my exit date was... read more
