Shady business practices!! I came in today (as a first time customer) to look for hair cutting scissors. I wasn't entirely sure if I wanted to buy right away or keep looking around, but the young girl behind the counter assured me that yes, I could return them if I changed my mind, as long as the package was unopened. Not once did she even hint that I would not get a refund but could only get store credit. If I had known this, I wouldn't have bought them. Lisa and her amazing team are so knowledgeable, helpful and welcoming. I enjoy the treasure hunt through the store each time I walk in. There is always a good selection of tools and products and usually if it's not in then and there the staff has always been so wonderful about ordering it in for me. I continuously recommend Styling Essentials to my own clients.
I like the products they offer but the store is very difficult to navigate in because it's tiny and jammed with products, very hard to move around when other people are in the store. The main reason I'm giving a low rating is because I was rushed into buying a product that would supposedly have the same outcome as what I was originally wanting to purchase. DO NOT GO HERE!!! If I could give it 0 stars I would. We went in to browse and saw a body cream on display. There was no seal on it so we opened it to smell it (I don’t even know who would buy a body cream without smelling it). It had clearly been opened before. Then the rude cashier started screaming at us telling us that we had to buy it and accusing us of breaking the seal on the product, even after we had shown her there was no seal.
