What a pleasant surprise this store is! I popped in because I'd purchased sunglasses elsewhere and they were just far too loose on me. The lovely guy with funky green glasses who served me happily adjusted them for no charge. I've never gotten that kind of service or experience at the big chain optometrists I've always gone to. I'll definitely be back here when I'm due to upgrade my glasses.
I had a terrible experience at Optique de Paris down the road so it was really nice to come into a normal store where they are professional and focus on eye care and patients and treat everyone nicely and don't yell at them or try to shove their appalling politics down customers throat. So if you want a great range of frames and well priced glasses and really nice staff then I would choose this or Gutteridge. They both have a really good range of frames and their customer service is first class.
2025 update ...I broke my favorite glasses so had to get new ones, and the selection of frames was, as ever beyond exceptional. My new glasses had a few fitting problems (my head probably, not their glasses lol) and they made certain the fit was perfect and I was 110% satisfied. Great service and a really good experience. It was my first time getting reading glasses and the whole process felt really comfortable. Staff were helpful and made it easy. Happy with everything and highly recommended.
