I really don’t like leaving one-star reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. My son has gone to Sue twice before, and both times his haircut was perfect—exactly like the picture we showed. That’s why we trusted coming back. Unfortunately, this time the result was completely different. His hair was cut far too short and looked nothing like the reference photo which is the same one we used. There was no way to fix it. What makes this even worse is the timing. This is my goto salon. I like the fact that the staff take care of you and comes to provide some feedback on your hair and cuts if you ask. I usually go for my bi-annual cuts here. A lot of parking next to a coffee shop and Korean restaurants. Book in advance to get a stylist. My goto is Sue!!!

I’ve been going to Stylette Hair Studio in Hawaiian Gardens for a while now for my perms with Kyu (Co-Director), and he always does an amazing job. This time I decided to try something new and get my hair dyed along with my perm, and it turned out even better than I expected. The color came out really natural and complemented the perm perfectly. My first time here and I have to say Kyu is the new Edward scissor hands! I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he completely transformed me and made me look 10 years younger! My haircut is exactly what I wanted and more. I’m absolutely in love with my new wispy bangs! Thank you Kyu! Also, huge shoutout to Sue. I had a great experience at this salon! The staff were very friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Kyu was especially helpful and really took the time to understand the look I was going for. They brought my vision to life and made sure I was happy with the results. I truly appreciated the care and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone looking for a great experience and a stylist who listens to what you want!
