I bought a car from them a month or so ago. Great service until parting with money. However, I had been verbally informed that the car had received its first service. On inspecting the log book after I got home I found it hadn't been stamped. Called up to enquire and was promised a call back which never arrived. I’ve own two Suzuki models; s-cross and latest Jimny. My experience from Melton and Kettering was excellent but Sturgess Leicester is very poor. I’ve waited two months for a safety recall to be undertaken. Eventually we took the Jimny in for a combined service, MOT and the recall. They forgot to do the recall saying the technician was ill, but managed to charge me over £500 for a service, MOT and new tyre. I was charged £35 plus vat to just swap a tyre. Nightmare. I’ve sent 3 emails, 2 web enquires and called 4 times… just to get a quote for work on a car. They promise the world and deliver very little. Call backs never come. I would avoid, try dealers in Nottingham or Melton… they called me back and sent a quote in 2 hours. Candidly if Sturgess can’t even give you a quote… I have little confidence that they can do the work to a respectable standard.
Went to sturgess Leicester to have a test drive in a manual hyundai car and came away buying a automatic hyundai and I have never driven a automatic car in all my 67 years of age, well what more can I say Suzanne was absolutely brilliant from start to finish and was so professional and very helpful in everything she did. Many thanks and I would recommend Suzanne to anybody who was looking to buy a new car.
