Our experience at Stumptown started off great with excellent drinks and quick service. Then, we decided to order food. I want to excuse the person who took my order, because it was very loud and he may have misheard me. However, when I let him know that my order was wrong, he asked his manager who told him “they already started eating it so there’s nothing we can do”. I’ve been coming here for over a decade (though only in fits and starts). Every time, I am very happy. I sit on the deck looking over the river, order a drink and a meal, and chat with friends and locals. I leave satisfied. The staff? Good at what they do and occasionally exceptional at banter.
