Stuff Etc is rude employees I think the employees steel what they want and when they go to price if they want it they price it cheap for there self so they can put it in there hold box to buy and there manager is nice but assistent manager is rude.very rude to my son. yelled at him when they could of said please don't touch.
Not a great vibe... This used to be a great store when it was SMALLER. But now they have expanded too much and try to have too much- and it has lost the personality. Rows and rows of racks is just not fun for resale, in my opinion. They now take 60% of the selling price, which they reduce gradually. After 90 days, if it is still in the store, they keep all the money. They price things WAY too high- and now with their policy of making an appointment to drop off your stuff and only 2 tubs at a time- it is too much of a hassle.... read more
Stuff Etc....another store I wouldn't visit! Now, I have visited STUFF ECT in Coralville and reviewed it but a friend gently reminded me that although they have the same name, STUFF ETC. in Iowa City could be entirely different!...She was wrong! Not only is this store fille dwith overpriced, low quality re-sale items but it has the same sort of musty smell as the Coralville store as well! Don't sell your STUFF, etc. I don't like this store. I have found some good deals and some not so good deals. I really don't recommend taking stuff to sell. They have (at least 4 times before I gave up) taken good quality stuff like brand new name brand shoes--new price $89--and then told me they didn't sell at any price. I am not sure that they are dishonest--I think they hire young, inexperienced staff who can't keep things straight.
Stuff Etc is has gotten MUCH better - AWESOME! I've been really impressed with the appearance of the Iowa City store! I'm not sure what they did differently, but it looks great and my stuff is selling so much better than it used to. Whatever it is, keep up the good work!
Stuff Etc. A great place to take your used items and buy used items Stuff Etc. Located in Coralville Iowa is a great place to take your used items and get some money out of them after your item is sold. It is also a great place to buy used items. This is a great place to find some good deals.
Tons of "stuff" I was not impressed with Stuff Ect in Coralville. It is easy to get to and they have ample parking. It is very visible from the interstate. But there is so much stuff and not all of it is all that great. Most items were priced kinda high for used items.
Stuff etc....stuff I would leave on the curb on Coralville Clean-up day! I have been less than happy with STUFF ETC. and I feel it only fair to readers to tell them why. I entered this store thinking I could find some items for a field trip my son was going to take. What I found was over priced, low quality merchandise and what's more the store had a slight odor to it that sent my allergies off! Stuff Etc is a great place PERIOD! As a mom, addicted shopper, consignor, and employee, I love Stuff Etc! I decided to write my opinion after reading yours. I know consignors get confused by some of the things we do at Stuff and they get frustrated. Customers occasionally have a less than ideal experience. These things happen and it isn't because of the business, but rather human difference. This occasionally happens with me and my husband. A simple misunderstanding that gets blown into a negative experience for both sides. ... read more
