Absolutely love this hair salon, I have been going to Lindsay for over 15 years. Recently she took me from blonde to brunette and I am absolutely in love with the new look! I drive all the way from Calgary down to Brooks just to see her because I know I’ll always be happy with the color and cut. She’s the absolute best and Opal is a beautiful salon with wonderful ownership and employees!
Haven’t worn my natural curls down in years with out straightening it , till I went to opal and had the most fantastic experience we did the big chop and boy did I need it and she was so above and beyond great with everything. One week later and I’m still obsessed with my hair 🩷

I came here in 2023 when it used to be Elle Studio. I was on a road trip from US east coast to Canadian Rockies. Brooks is a cute small town, so I was little nervous about getting hair cut done here. It turned out that all my concerns were prejudiced and baseless. She was super friendly, recommended a lot of places and restaurants in the area to check out. And the hair cut was superb.
