I just started boxing and have had a very welcoming and great experience. The staff seem very knowledgeable and are very friendly. Starting on the right foot like this is very encouraging. I would recommend this gym wholeheartedly.
Counterback gym is a perfect place to learn the sport of boxing. The coaches here are professional and detail-oriented. This is not a gym for those who romanticize violence or have the need to release their anger. However, if you want to learn the mechanics of your body and how to stay engaged under stress, I highly reccommend this gym.
A very nice place to learn technique, workouts are intense but fun, and they really push you in the best way, I definitely recommend checking this place out
*I'm updating the review after two months training here.* I originally rated 5 stars but they deserve more than that and I wish I could give them more than just 5 stars. The owner SAM is professional and passionate. Coach Gian, coach Jay and coach Justin are also great coaches and I always appreciate their classes. Coach Gian is amazing! Super knowledgeable, patient, and always pushes you to do your best. Great energy and really helps you improve your technique. Highly recommend training with him!
