This was a last minute choice on our way back home. This is definitely a dated motel with dated rooms. Once we walked into the room it reeked. The smell reminded me of cat pee. Maybe mice pee? My husband said possible water damage but whatever it was, it was disgusting and it was about 3am when we arrived. I looked around the room and it was definitely not the cleanest room. Our experience here started out good. We were in town for a hockey tournament for the weekend and we had to book the studio suite since we had the 2 adults 2 kids and a baby. The room was very big and had plenty of room for the kids to play around. Had a little kitchen to cook in and a full size fridge. The 1st night we all slept well and it was great. Checked in for 2 nights. The bathroom was gross. Toilet had poop stains on the front, a bloody booger looking thing next to the toilet paper roller & hair scattered in the shower. Bright it up with manager “Harry” & he tried showing me a notebook of how they log what’s needing to be cleaned, basically calling me a liar and not taking any accountability.
