I come to this gym because I'm an alum and it's the closest and most affordable gym for me. But the hours are terrible and as others have noted, it can get ridiculously busy. I have had 2 knee replacements and swimming has been a HUGE part of my recovery. It has been really frustrating to get pool time! They have very restricted hours, they close completely for spring break, and even on the days they're supposed to be open, I will come to find a sign at the front desk that the pool is closed for the day. The gym is pretty good for general training for health and body building. Good range of dumbbells, plenty of machines, decent amount of benches and racks. The only issue is since its a big school at certain times the place is absolutely packed. Plan to go at times where not many people are there and its a good experience. If you are a powerlifter like me its not so great since they dont like you deadlifting there last time i was there, and the bars are a little worn, and they say no chalk.
It's a nice gym. I think there should be a dress code policy in place. Some women come in with very provocative clothing. This is a gym, not a strip club.
