I am new to the area. I wanted to get established with a primary care physician. I made an appointment for an annual checkup. My insurance covers annual checkups with zero out of pocket. Also you are allowed some lab work at zero out of pocket. After my visit I checked my health insurance website. I was charged, out of pocket, for lab work $274.72 and they added an additional doctor visit to my bill of $69.75. They do incorrect billing codes and deny that they are doing that.
