I have been seeing Dr. Varon since I was young. He is kind, compassionate, and does not overmedicate like many other doctors do. He always takes the time to listen before giving any sort of medication.
He was absolutely amazing. He was always there for us and was great with meds and was totally compassionate. He really cares and tries his best to help you. He is totally professional and involves the family to provide the best possible care.
Dr. Varon is extremely pleasant to work with. He always listens to all problems and looks at every possible factor before commenting on the medication aspect of a patient. I used him for my older son in the 1990s. Now that I have a teenager again, I appreciate Dr. Varon even more. He has only gotten better with age. In addition, Dr. Varon can routinely be found in Baltimore magazine under the BEST CHILD PSYCHIATRIST for our city.
I've been seeing Dr. Varon for many years. I recommend him, but there is most likely always a 30 minute to one hour wait. He never runs on time so schedule accordingly. Only thing is, he sees my family and I. I would like to be seen alone because it's a one sided view (as some of the things I want to talk about alone are my parents). He's very knowledgeable in medicine and has always been there whenever I had a crisis. He's kept me well past my adult years even though he's a family doctor.
