Did a terrific job on a very close relative's complicated distal radius/ulna (wrist) comminuted fracture. Four days from initial evaluation to surgery, including interim medical clearance. Efficient, personable, and detail obsessed. Top rate outpatient OR, anesthesia, and nursing staff. Very impressive!
Dr. Elkowitz is an outstanding physician. Initially I had an appointment with him that I booked online after being seen in the ER and told that I had a fractured wrist. He took the initiative to obtain my x-rays from the ER, and called me to tell me that I had a serious fracture and might require surgery. He told me to come for an appointment that afternoon. I been seeing Dr. Elkowitz for about year. I been having lot pain in wrist. Dr. stated I have De Quervain's Tenosynovitis & I had Cyst. I have been getting treated for both. I couldn't take pain anymore. On 10/1/21 Dr. Elkowitz performed surgery on my wrist and removed Cyst. He amazing Dr. Dr. Elkowitz explains everything to you. I'm on road to recovery. His nurse Jacqueline amazing also. Dr. Elkowitz called me next day after surgery. I appreciate it. I highly recommend him. Thank you so much.
Such a positive attitude throughout my visit. He was able to quickly determine what was wrong with my wrist and treat it within that same hour. I'd definitely recommend him.
I had high hopes because of his great reviews. I never leave reviews but I felt so affected by his abrasive emotionless attitude that I had to. I went for a possible carpal tunnel issue when I tried to speak he kept speaking over me, immediately minimized my concerns and was constantly trying to end the conversation and walk out. RecommendedMy parents and I recommend Dr. Stuart Elkowitz highly because he took excellent care of my 80 years old dad’s broken wrist. With Dr. Elkowitz guidness my dad’s wrist healed properly without surgery. The Dr. Truly did a remarkable, honest, and wonderful job. We are forever grateful to him.
Outstanding dr. Successfully fixed a prior cubital release surgery performed by another dr. He is very thorough and explains his prognosis in detail. Since Dr. Elkowitz's revision surgery to my elbow I have been pain free and no numbness for over two years. Highly recommend this dr for treating hand, wrist or elbow problems. Dr Elkowitz is one of the few dr's who is accessible to phone calls to questions in a timely manner.
Dr. Elkowitz is the best. He helped me in an emergency situation and he was both professional and caring. His follow-up was just as good. I have recommended him to many other people who have had equally positive experiences.
