Went for carpel tunnel on right hand...he first x-rayed both...then upon him coming into room suggested cortisone shots returned with two telling me my left thumb had arthritis...gave me a shot in each hand which I might add was extremely painful... quickly told me make a appointment for any more of my needs and exited...sent my insurance a bill for almost $4000...I'm a handicapped senior...they wouldn't take a copay then billed me for months for $30. Well I waited 6 weeks post surgery to write a review...I saw Dr Drew for the first time & told him that my finger was locking up & very stiff & hard to even bend. Without any physical examination or even looking at my hand/finger he immediately said oh you have trigger finger and you need surgery. I opted for a cortisone injection that only lasted about 5 weeks. So I went back to see him and agreed to the surgery. He told me in three to four weeks you'll be 100% back to normal. I started seeing Dr. Drew after my hand Dr moved out of the state . I asked my hand Dr who would he see or send his family to and he told me Dr. Drew without a doubt . I’ve been seeing him for a couple of years now , and I wouldn’t change a thing . He gets straight to the point, and he knows what he’s talking about. His PA is amazing, his staff is really nice , I wouldn’t trade him or his staff for anything.

my review is not about Dr. Drew but more the hospital he operate at. Southwood boardman Ohio. I assume he is a very good doctor, but when a radiologist is allowed to say what a patient has just by reading his past medical history without ever meeting the patient or contacting his PCP is ridiculous to me !! then wanting the patient to give a urine sample at the office but bring in a cup of crap from home is for sure redicious to me !! all should be done in a clinical setting medical setting. so now the scheduled surgery has b... read more
