He takes time to explain important medical things that are pertinent to us. He never hesitates to refer to other specialists. He is caring. He is all about preventative and being your best no matter your medical problems.
Dr.Balasekaran is THE expert when it comes to Gastroenterology. What sets him apart is his patience in listening to his patients. Heard Northwest Medical has shut down their gastro practice and in the process losing this key talent and a great service provider. Will miss him as my specialist. Wishing him and his team the very best and any community that gets him is very lucky.

EVERY single person assisting DR Balasekaran from pre op to post op was not only professional but also personable and genuinely sought to make sure I was comfortable and cared for. The DR came in before the procedure to discuss possibilities, and afterward to share results with my husband and I. The whole team was Top Drawer and I certainly whole be happy to recommend them.
I had my first colonoscopy at Northwest Medical in Springdale yesterday, and had an amazing experience with Dr. Balasekaran and his team. Great process with check-in to each nurse that helped me. Very kind, thorough, and patient. Bedside manner was more than expected for a simple out-patient procedure. I highly recommend this team, and doctor. I plan to tell each of my friends having the procedure soon to use Northwest and Dr. Balasekaran.
The entire surgery team is kind, and extremely efficient. Dr. Balasekaran is calmn and easy to talk to. He explains everything and the procedure is fast. Pictures are given and the results of the procedure are explained to the patient and the driver present with the patient.
