Not worth it. Print heads that take several cleanings EVERY DAY just to get a clean nozzle check, expensive ink cartridges with chip readers that don’t work and tell you how much ink you have (wonder why they use chip readers, hmm), outdated rip software that can’t produce accurate colors (“but hey! We’ll sell you the newest software for one thousand dollars!”), technicians that lie and so on. Simply not worth the trouble.
Nice employees, but completely bad ink. We've had to replace heads. The ink doesn't dry all the way no matter what we do it remains tacky for days. You can scrape it off with your fingernail easy and denatured alcohol completely dissolves it. That doesn't happen with Mimaki ink. We've wasted thousands of dollars trying this ink. This was a COSTLY mistake.
The ink works well but the checkout process is about as high friction as you could get. Then when you are directed to customer service, while nice, are also high friction. I'm amazed that such a large company has such issues with checkout performance. This applies to credit card or paypal payment methods.
Chips not useable they replaced and they did work. The uv ink sprays quite a bit more than mimaki uv ink. It is tacky and sticky and smells strongly days later. It scratches off like its not dry. I reduce ink and it helps some, but its still an issue. Im just glad it didnt hurt my print heads. Sadly I have 8 full bottles i need to go through or I lose out on 1200 bucks. By far the best DTF ink in the USA. After proper profiling, we were able to achieve an extremely wide color gamut with outstanding vibrancy and accuracy. Running this ink on our 8-head 32” printer has produced rich, consistent, and highly vibrant colors. Highly recommend for anyone serious about print quality.
