I took the wife out plant shopping for her birthday. Being a "Florida Cracker" born in Orlando, I have always loved the Tavares-Leesburg area of the state and a chance to get the wife out away from the city. I saw Struthers on the internet and decided to take her along with some other places in the area. Very pleasantly surprised! A very nice young lady and the owner's son were working. Healthy plants, great staff full of ideas and answers! Went to look and ended up buying a truck load of plants! Prices extremely reasonable too
Struthers is THE NURSERY to go to! they propagate everything themselves so prices are exceptionally reasonable. They have an expansive collection of all types of plants, trees, shrubs, etc. - I'm never disappointed. They also carry mulch. Everyone who works there is very helpful and you can even jump on a golf cart to go up and down the rows - because there are MANY! You can't go wrong with Struthers.
