I originally bought a necklace from Zealand there that he customized for me by using some of my old jewelry in trade. Afterward I had him un-mount some stones for me from some old jewelry. I had an older wedding band that he said he thought he could sell for me. I am surprised this store is still in business. The employees are rude and offensive. I will never do business with them. And I will make sure to tell as many people as possible of my experience with them.

Did not even come close to giving fair dollar for my gold and sold me a chain three other jewlers said was over charge by 2/3rds. I would seriously shop around before trusting these guys. When i told the owner he said he was is business to make good money and not good deals. BEWARE!

Custom Ring Disaster – I had a custom ring made through Stroud Jewelers. It was the worst experience I've ever had with a jeweler. First off, I entrusted them with several heirloom stones that they "swapped out" for different stones. Most of the heirloom stones were not returned to me. They quoted me one price, when the bill came it was more than double the original quote. Keep your watch away from here – I went to Stroud jewelers to get my watch batteries replaced. I was overcharged the first time I went, getting a refund after I went home and called to ensure their prices were correct. The day after my water resistant watch (100ft.) got in a little water and moisture appeared on the front because it was not sealed properly, after which the back fell off entirely. Great if you want your girlfriend to be your fiancee – My fiance went to Stroud and got the most wonderful ring for me. He ordered the diamond from an online vendor, and took it in to Zealand. Zealand totally went the extra mile playing cloak and dagger games with my honey so he could surprise me with my wonderful proposal. Perfection! – These guys are honest, perfectionists, fair priced and in my opinion, the ONLY game in town! I, and everyone I know, will go nowhere else. Ask for Zealand.......he knows his stuff and will special order, design, or find anything you desire. I would never dream of even having my wedding ring cleaned elsewhere.
