Rich Strong and Tom Strong form a great duo and backbone business to the town of Sputh Windsor. They have been my and my families go to mechanics for over a decade. I have recommended numerous friends and no one has had a bad experience. String Auto is a trustworthy and technically sound choice for you automotive needs.
Because of a communication breakdown within the shop, I paid approximately $40 to address a leak in my left rear tire, only to learn later that the tire I brought the vehicle in for was never repaired. Instead, the right rear tire was repaired after a nail was reportedly found in it, despite my tire pressure monitoring system ONLY indicating an issue with the left rear tire, which was the specific concern I brought the vehicle in to have addressed. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable.
I had a bad wheel bearing on a very high milage Prius. Not only did they have the best price. They had it done the next day. They were incredibly just pleasant to deal with. Later, there was a new noise from the same wheel that turned out to be unrelated. But 2 techs stopped what they were doing and checked all 4 wheels and DXed the problem and found another minor problem just being good guys and told me how to fix myself. Just all around a great experience. I highly recommend them.
