Scheduled a furnace tune-up/start-up. The tech was unable to start-up the system. Initially, he stated that the heat exchanger was cracked (he used an IR camera it looks like) and that a new current controller is needed. I pushed him both and asked him if we able to start up the system. He then went back in and stated that the transformer is bad. And that given the age of the furnace, he pushed for replacement.
