My husband was brought to the strong West ER on 6/20/23 for trouble breathing he has stage 4 lung cancer and we were at his Oncology doctor at Wilmont Cancer center at strong west they listed to his heart and lungs thought maybe a blood clot so sent us to the ER the doctor on call at that time 11:30am was terrible barely spoke to us had the nurse well at least 5 running around like crazy. If I could give this place a rating of zero I definitely would. Been in here twice in one week; same problems, with an additional lower pain. All they do is give you something for the pain and run some bloodwork; no imaging done, no x-rays done, and CT scans done! I’ve been suffering with abdominal pain and now lower back pain; and they never checked into the problem. I get told my blood works fine therefore they can discharge me! It’s a shame there isn’t an option for zero stars! This place is a bandaid hospital. The nursing staff this morning was stuck up; including the doctor. I came in with nausea, stomach pain, feeling dehydrated, and back pain. I told the nurse that certain meds don’t work for me and then the doctor prescribes it for me😡! Then they try to give me a nausea med that is in my allergy list😡! No fluids were given for my dehydration😡! How is this place still in business? Who are they paying off?
