Great People!!! This pharmacy is one of the hidden gems of Portland. Their customer service is unbelievable. If you visit a large chain drugstore chances are you will wait 30+ minutes for your prescription. Strohecker's will get your prescription out in a timely manner. The pharmacists are readily accessible. The support staff is great. I LOVE Strohecker's Pharmacy!!!
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! The grocery store and people working there are wonderful! BUT, it is a completely different story with the people at the pharmacy. I live in the neighborhood and have been shopping at Stroheckers for years, the last year I have started using the pharmacy. EVERY TIME I go to pick up my prescription it is never ready (this is at least 3 days after calling it in) it's bad enough that it is nor ready, but the I am given attitude about it from the same woman that works there. Upper class grocery Downside of this store are the narrow aisles-especially in the giftable/card area. Groceries a bit high priced, but it's the only store in the area. Clerks are all nice and helpful. Great wine cellar. There is a post office for that one stop shopping.
great grocery This is a great neighborhood grocery in the Portland Heights area. It has a wonderful meat department, and carries several higher-end things. It was founded in 1902 and is right in the middle of the neighborhood. Many residents can walk. It is not small, though, and offers a good variety of things. Let me recommend again the meat department, which is very high-quality.
