With Childhood Apraxia of Speech being such a complex speech disorder, finding the most beneficial method of speech therapy takes a lot of trial and error. My son has been going to Strive to Thrive for two years now and loves it. He has childhood apraxia of speech and usually sees Anne, but has also seen Lauren. I love them both. They are so patient, kind, compassionate and very understanding of my son. They are in the process of renovating, they have already added a new slide and ball bit that my son is super excited about. I have enjoyed watching this office grow and continue to expand. I highly recommend them!!
Anne and her whole team are amazing! I knew it from the moment that I received my son’s speech and language evaluation that Anne understood my son’s challenges. Better yet, she got busy helping him! She helps me advocate for him at school providing documentation and further evaluations and has even attended an IEP meeting with me. Add in the amazing writing tutoring that my son receives from Michael and Billy at Strive to Thrive and we couldn’t be happier. Anne and Lauren were amazing when they evaluated my daughter from which she was diagnosed with mild Childhood Apraxia of Speech. She started treatment with Lauren who she loved to work with from day 1. Everyone is so helpful and kind.
