I had a very frustrating experience with this practice. I had scheduled an appointment with Dr. Brown and talked to him PERSONALLY by phone 3 days prior. When I arrived for my appointment, after a few minutes he informed me that by law, he could not treat patients over 65 who were eligible for Medicare. I have no idea why he chose not to tell me this during our phone conversation. When I asked him about this he said it was because I had a "young voice". I could not be happier with the care I received at Strive! I had been feeling terrible for 2-3 weeks and been to urgent care and the ER without any relief to my symptoms. Not only did Strive see me within 24hrs, Alexis diagnosed the issue in my 45 min appointment. Goes to show that actually listening to the patient can help get down to the root cause much faster and effectively than other standard care alternatives. Welcoming and extremely friendly environment. Very different and refreshing ambiance compared to other health care offices I have visited in the past. The people at Strive in Erie are all kind and engaging.
They’re ALWAYS there for you! I’ve never had such prompt & excellent service. The entire staff is kind, sincere & genuinely cares. It’s also the cleanest doctor’s office I’ve ever been in. One of the best family decisions we’ve ever made.
Dr. Brown at Strive Direct Health is kind, compassionate, and responsive. The affordability of routine primary care under Thrive Direct Health is unparalleled in the industry. I was able to get the labs I needed done at my convenience with a choice of locations and he contacted me directly with the results in days.
