My son, David, has been coming here for, well, over a year. Mrs. Sheryl Duncan , is great!! She is professional and always finds ways to keep my five year old, interested and attentive. If something isn't working, she does everything to find what will! Mrs. Duncan is so patient and goes out of her way to come up with new methods and techniques to help my son accomplish his goals. I cannot say enough good things about Strides Therapy & Educational Services and especially Julia! A year ago, I had my son evaluated here because I was concerned about his English development—he’s being raised trilingually. Our first experience, unfortunately, didn’t go well. The evaluator felt cold, and neither my son nor I connected with her. For a child, that comfort and trust is everything, and without it, you’re not going to get a true picture of their abilities. I absolutely love and adore my son’s SLP, Ms. Shelby! She is so engaging, kind, and makes each session fun for my 4 year old! He looks forward to coming each week, and we’ve seen soo much progress with his speech!
Shelby has been a wonderful encouragement and instructor to my son. He has shown great improvement and loves coming to his weekly sessions.
My daughter has attended Strides for weekly speech therapy for almost 2 years. We have had a great experience throughout our time with them. Ms. Amy is always helpful and quick to respond if there are scheduling issues or changes needed. My daughter has had a few different SLPs at Strides and they have all been great with her and adjusted sessions to best meet her individual needs and comfort level.
