We got this for our son at around 18 months or less he loved it and still does. Now at 3 years old we just got him on a pedal bike and as soon as he got the peadling down the training wheels came off and he took off! Strider really taught him balance and how to handle the bike when losing balance (just put his feet down like his strider!) How many people have a 3 year old that can ride a bike without training wheels! We reccomend to everyone!
Our son loves his strider bike!! He might just skip training wheels all together.
We got our 11 month old a Honda Strider and it worked wonders for him!!! It taught him balance so when he turned 2 he rode his first Bicycle without training wheels and also started riding his Honda 50 around the same time! I highly recommend striders for any child! The earlier the better!!!
