I have been to Stricker s Auctions for a few years and keep returning. For all those that have negative remarks, remember...this is an auction. It is not set up as a merchandise store. It is not the fault of the people behind the counter, if a line forms (everyone arrives at the same time). It wouldn t matter how many employees they had...someone would have to wait. As for when the auction starts...you would also gripe if the auction didn t start on time. Right? It would help to move large amounts of merchandise, if you all ... read more

I went to their first auction of the season; however it was not their first auction, but it would have seemed that way. They were extremely unorganized resulting in slow check-in lines which resulted in people checking in after start of auction. The auction ran very late, mostly because Ron kept getting the bid numbers called incorrectly or not called at all, which meant he had to keep stopping and asking who won what. This happened over and over, but he seemed to think it was the fault of others, including the bidders that ... read more

They are ok. Watch em though. I witnessed several items go "sold" without them adding the consigner number to the bid sheets. Some of it was mine and I had to tell them. Its mostly lower \$ items when it happened. They need to make sure to tag each item with the consignor number and blurt it out when the item sells so the clerk can document it. The consignor deserves full credit for the proper amount of their sale.

DO NOT take any good antiques to this auction. He will sell for virtually nothing.

Greatest auctioneers I have been going to Stricker's auction since 1975 as both a buyer and a seller. I have relied on their honesty and expertise in all my negotiations with them. They (Jerry and his son Ron) ar excellent auctioneers and honest to a fault. My last auction was $20,000.00 of outdated stock from my son's business and they sold this with typical efficiency and integrity. I received my check two days after the auction. I am an antique dealer and rely on them for my business. They are the best auction company in ... read more
