This is the worst doctor I have ever seen! I went to him for a case of pneumonia that I recovered from but still had issues. He gave me a breathing test but never gave me results from it. He also recommended a sleep study that I waited 2 months to get an appointment for. The office confirmed the appointment that day for 8 pm but when I showed up at 7:45 to a dark parking lot and a closed office and waited until 8:10. I gave up! Not a reliable office!
I ended up in the hospital in terrible shape due to a general physician's two plus weeks of care following a mistaken diagnosis. Dr. Streff and his team at Genesys took me in, immediately and correctly diagnosing the problems as Pulmonary Embolisms and Infarctions. Dr. Streff's care was superb. When finally discharged, he worked with me late at night to change medications and even called around to find a pharmacy with late night hours so I could start the medications immediately. He lacks care and concern for his patients. His ego gets in the way of patient care. Focuses on the immediate and not preventive. Happy to be with a new pulmonologist.
Dr Streff was my second lung doctor and I? couldn’t ask for a more thorough and kind doctor. My health has dramatically improved since changing to him. He takes time to listen to me and takes my concerns seriously. He is willing to work with my other doctors to coordinate care. I? would recommend him to anyone. Office staff have been very friendly and efficient.
Unfortunately we had about the worse experience you can have with a doctor when dealing with Dr.Streff. I really hope this was an isolated experience and it was a few years back. I do want to encourage anyone out their if you feel you are not being heard or taken seriously please get a second opinion. It saved my husbands life!
I would definitely recommend seeing Dr. Streff. I went in for a pre-sleep apnea assessment and everyone was very friendly. Dr. Streff was very patient and thorough during the examination. His staff was very friendly.
The office staff, specifically the office manager Debra, were quite rude. I was sent away twice and rescheduled three times. Debra actually hung up on my care provider twice while she was trying to provide information. They then refused to accept me as a patient; which is fine because I felt completely uncomfortable after dealing with the office shenanigans and getting the run around.
