Stephanie is the best counselor I’ve ever had. She has guided me through the sickness and death of my wife, father, father in law and my mother’s mental health struggles. Most recently she was there for me when a dear friend committed suicide. I believe her groundedness and preparation skills rooted in ceremony helped me to show up with love for all of these relationships. Most notably my wife. I've spent quite a bit of time with my counselor Sara French, we do sessions over the phone. I really like how comfortable I have felt sharing with her, she understands First Nations issues, trauma, loss and all of the normal day to day issues as well. I would highly recommend any of the counselors at Strawberry Medicine.

I loved everything about my first appointment. It was easy to book and even though it was virtual, Deanna made it feel like a warm, welcoming space. As it was an intake I was worried I wouldn't really have the opportunity to share some of the things I felt I needed to talk about but that wasn't the case at all. We got through all the formalities but she also held space for what I needed in the moment. I left the appointment feeling hopeful about my situation and grateful that I had a good connection right away.

Strawberry Medicine Counseling was a natural choice for me. It's Indigenous operated with Indigenous Registered Therapists. Sara French allows time for me to talk and process, as well as she provides a relevant and useful summarization of our talk and session.
