We have been going to this farm since my grown 28 year old son was a little boy. He still comes with us!! It's a seasonal family tradition. The peaches are very sweet this year. Remember that this is a farm...not a grocery store....pick carefully. Do not twist...just grab the fruit and gently pull! It was as fun as usual, and we will be back for the apples soon!!

Not much of a festival....picking was good. A little pricey, but the peaches were yummy!

Went today for the first time ever. Did peach picking. Was really disappointed because a lot of the peaches were rotten and had bugs. I understand because of the weather lately it happens but $2.99 a pound and basically being told what tree I'm allowed to pick off was not a fun experience. I can go to Walmart and get peaches for 1.98 a lb and they won't go bad in 2 days. As far as the telling me I can only go to this tree or this one and not the one next to it... seriously? No one else was even in the orchard. Probably won't... read more

Went on Tuesday with my grandsons and we were told about the bees damaging all the fruit. Slim pickings where the tractor dropped us off. We prowled around until we found some decent peaches to pick. Very poor crop this year! Brought them home with the intention of canning most of them. The woman told me to let them sit for a day to ripen. LOL! We ended up throwing more than a dozen away this morning because they already rotted! You are right, at $2.99 a pound, it is definitely not worth the trip. Looks like I'm going to hav... read more

Business response:

Not sure who told you bees damage the fruit , Yes they love the sweetness of the peach and will go after the peach that is broke open, But, they do not damage the fruit per say. What ever staff member may have conveyed that to you was misinformed . As for ripening you put them in fridge and pull one or two out (or what ever you would like to eat by the next day) and allow to ripen farther over night is usually fine. They do not need long, especially if they were picked a bit ripe to begin with. If a peach is picked green it w... read more

Rotting fruit on the tree and ground and the good fruit we were not allowed to pick. The ride to and from the orchards were the most fun. $2.99/lb for these peaches is just not worth it.
