We visited Strauss at Mapleview Mall to buy a suit for our son’s graduation. We had already been to several other stores, but we were not happy with the fit and style of the suits we saw elsewhere. Ahmed provided outstanding customer service. He helped us find a great suit, shirt, and tie for our son. We paid $238 CAD for the complete outfit. We had a pleasant experience with Strauss Menswear at this location. The staff were professional, knowledgeable, and never pushy throughout the process. There was a delay with the alterations due to a machine issue, and I was initially disappointed that we were not notified in advance. However, the team handled the situation professionally, addressed our concerns promptly, and completed the alterations with a quick turnaround. I had a pretty horrible experience here the two times I’ve visited. First time none of the staff was willing to assist me in getting a suit for my child. I gave them a second shot only to have a similar experience with getting help. I wouldn’t recommend going here if you are a minority. Customer service is a joke and I would recommend you go to the nearby RW&CO for better prices and professional customer service from the staff.
