Almost an IDENTICAL experience as Mr. Massey, although after my father went by there and demanded to see the materials they supposedly spent the deposit we made in DECEMBER on, they agreed to refund my money without an attorney being involved. Hopefully, they will honor that so we don't have to sue them. They're also operating under 2 different names and Air Flow Awnings reviews reflect similar experiences. I truly do not like having to do this, BUT this business has made it necessary. I think I have only ever done this twice....so, probably a good indication of my true frustration. In short, I encourage all to think three times at least before doing business with Strauss Awnings in Montgomery. We had them out in the early fall for a quote.....agreed on terms and they shared then it would be January or possibly February before they could simply recover two awnings we purchased from them and add one more. Would think before shopping these folks. Order for my awnings was placed in April. Called them in June, they said it’s backordered…will be next month. Called them in July…said their office had COVID. I call back in august….no Vidya answers. Call them in September, they said we are running later with all install but you are 10th on the list so we will be there around September end. Very professional and quality work. Not once did I feel “bullied” or “pushed” onto a certain product. Joy was very helpful in showing fabric options. The awnings are beautiful, tight, and very nice to have! Huge thanks to Strauss Awnings for the shade and amazing work!
