After having lunch over on Amsterdam, I walked over to Straus Park to see the monument. The park is between Broadway and West End on 106th street. It is a small park with lots of seating. At the Southern end, I found this monument. There is a lovely lady lounging on a pillow. There is also a small water feature at her feet. Nicely landscaped area. A nice little park to take a rest and listen to the gurgling water.
