Very nice man! He's easy to talk to, deeply listens to you, and develops a timeline of events. Ask essential questions and answers any questions you have. He does a whole body physical on you and can pinpoint all your pain-generating spots. He reads the entire MRI results in-depth. Not just the conclusion at the end! He starts with a moderate dose of medications and will make adjustments as needed! The most impressive thing is that he cares and takes time with you!
Fantastic doctor. Cares for his patients, understands pain and is a great advocate. Dr. Straus always ask how I’m doing, listens and supports me in living my best life in spite of pain. My back is bad, it’s inoperable, I don’t now how I’d function without his guidance. and care. Highly recommend.
I've been seeing Dr. Straus for over 8 yrs now. He made a huge difference in my pain managment. He is not one of those doctors who think's you are a paycheck, you are a human being to him & trust me, that really matters. I had a pain doctor who had me way, way over medicated & I almost lost my life...I am so thanful that Dr. Straus is my pain specialist .
This doctor treated me as a person, had my medical records, and listen to me. He took his time with me. ONLY if any painmangement doctor truly understands pain can they really help you. Wonderful bedside manner and easy to talk to
Dr. Straus is very compassionate and understanding. He is very knowledgeable, and is able to answer all my questions regarding managing my pain.
Dr. Straus is one of the best pain specialists in Northwest Georgia. He genuinely cares for his patients, and is not judgemental about the kinds of medication that people legitimately need to treat their condition. We have some wonderful pain specialists in Northwest Georgia, but I would recommend him over everyone else!
I highly recommend Dr. Morrison to provide pain management care from mild to severe! I have been seeing him for over 6 years and will continue! He cares and listens; not many physicians like him! He is a Godsend! - Wendy L.
Dr. Peter S. Morrison is one of the best doctors that I have ever had the pleasure to know! He truly is a caring and attentive doctor. He never rushes through his visits, he is thorough and compassionate. He will always answer your questions honestly and even if your question isn't in his field, he will refer you to someone who can take care of all your needs. Many other doctors could take lessons on how to treat a patient from Dr. Morrison!
