Giving 2 stars for the kind staff at the front desk however, the wait times are outrageous for emergency situations. We watch so many people go in and out before us when my son was having a medical emergency and we required to speak with a doctor asap. We couldn’t get into our family doctor so they advised we go to emerg, we couldn’t get in here in a timely manner either and eventually had to leave to go to another hospital.

I can’t thank the Strathroy Hospital Emergency Department enough for the care I received. I came in with the worst pain, feeling scared and overwhelmed, and the staff took such great care of me from the moment I walked in. They were professional, kind, and very efficient — I was in and out in just 2 hours! Their compassion and quick action made such a difficult experience so much easier. Truly grateful for the amazing team here.

My fiance just came home in tears from the absolutely atrocious experience she had with the female emerge doctor at starthroy general in emerge! Didn't even treat her like a human, talked down to her, made her feel like what she was experiencing wasn't worth her time! This is completely unacceptable, you guys are suppose to be the best of us. This is unacceptable by all standards, never again will we be using this hospital, the care there is abysmal and the bedside manner is even worse!

Unfortunately I’ve had to go here a few times. Active kids with broken bones (skiing and falling out of a tree) or illnesses that needed attention. Great and competent staff.
