Best safe space in Australia. Best staff & centre for anyone who needs help.
I have been visiting this space coming up to 2 years now and they have immensely supported me through my recovery journey. Initially I thought I had to rely on hospitals, treating teams and ‘home away from home’ youth stays…until I heard of Safe Space. Just a simple chat with one of the peer workers opened a window of hope for me. If you’re feeling stuck and hopelessly down, this is the place to visit. I have been regularly visits to this place, it has helped me more in the past 4 months with mental health then I have received from the hospitals over past 38 years, I can truely say that Safe Space has saved my life, I would not be here with the constant support from these wonderful people, yes there are a couple peer workers I was not comfortable with but I never gave up and I regularly connect with the main 4 peer workers I confide in, if you ever visit this place all I can say is try talking to most of them and I truthfu... read more
